On December 11, 2015 at 1:30am, members of the Grand Rapids RCMP Detachment responded to a report of a shooting at an establishment in the Town of Grand Rapids.
Once on location, officers found one adult male with a gunshot wound and a second adult male with serious stab wounds. Both males required medical attention, though their injuries were not life threatening.
Police say that the suspects fled the scene prior to officers arriving and are now believed to be in Winnipeg. Warrants have been issued for the arrest of 22-year-old Alex Sanderson of Grand Rapids and 26-year-old Kelsey Ballantyne of Selkirk.
RCMP report that the suspects are considered armed and dangerous. Members of the public are asked not to approach the suspects and to call 911 immediately if seen.
