Although the number of people coming to visit the museum has decreased in the last month, we still have the pleasure of meeting interesting guests. Last week a party of Icelandic people paid a visit to MHV. Several of the group members had recently moved from Iceland to Winnipeg and had visited MHV during the summer. On this occasion they brought a family member visiting from Iceland to see the museum.
We were also honoured by a visit from a couple from Ontario. Honoured because they were on their way from Ontario to Winnipeg to see their first grandchild born a week earlier. How special that they would pause a visit at our museum when this new family member was only an hour down the road.
