Swearing in ceremony

As the newly elected Member of Parliament, I thank you for entrusting me to represent you in Ottawa. I believe that in order to be a good leader you first must serve the people you represent. I am proud to say that shortly after the election, my constituency office was opened and my staff and I have been busy serving constituents.

I would like to take a moment to thank the volunteers on my campaign. Their tireless efforts have not gone unnoticed and I am humbled by the fact that so many people put their lives on hold to participate in the democratic process.

I was delighted to spend the past few months talking and visiting with the residents of Provencher. Whether it was hosting barbecues, knocking on doors or attending special events, it was an honour to meet new people from all areas of our riding.

Having a strong background in business, I understand the economic needs of our constituency. I look forward to working with the many business and community leaders in Provencher to ensure that our region continues to prosper and remains a great place to raise a family.

As your Member of Parliament, I know that it is my job to represent everyone in Provencher. I will continue to visit the many communities across the riding to ensure that the people of our constituency are equally represented and that your concerns are heard in Ottawa.
