Several weeks ago Lone Hill and Lenore Kehler, members of the Steinbach and Area Garden Club, asked if we might be interested in having a snow sculpture beside the front entrance to our Village Centre. These artistic women had a vision to create a team of horses out of snow at that location. Their enthusiasm wasn’t dampened by our lack of resources for building and filling the large box that would eventually yield the needed snow block. On their own initiative, they secured materials, assembled a box, and then arranged to have it filled with snow.

Keep your eyes on our front entrance, and you will soon see a team of white horses emerging from the snow drifts in front of our building.
