Touch of Christmas is our last festival in the 2012 season. This festival will take place on November 30 and December 1. Activities begin at 5:00 PM with horse drawn sleigh rides, or wagon rides, depending on the amount of snow we have at the time. At 6:30 Mr. Ken and Mr. Ben will begin The Red Nose Christmas Show in the Village Centre Auditorium. These children’s entertainers were popular with the children during our summer festivals.
At the end of The Red Nose Christmas Show, the audience will again be invited to make their way out to the stable for The Living Nativity. They will experience live animals, an angel, shepherds, wise men and of course, Mary and Joseph and Baby Jesus.
Following The Living Nativity quests will be invited to enjoy sleigh rides, come in for cookies and hot chocolate, and listen to a Christmas concert. On Friday the Eastman Male Choir will sing at 8:00 PM. On Saturday Christmas music will be provided by the Eastman Youth Choir.
The galleries will be open to guests both evenings. Admission for this festival is $5.00 per person. There will be no charge for children two years of age and under.
