When Jesus walked on the face of this earth, he spoke to people desperately trying to find rest for their souls, and desperately trying to find God and desperately trying to be good, but they were finding the task impossible and were misguided by the same things that leads us a stray.

Every Christmas you and I must come to terms with the birth and nature of Jesus Christ. Christians make some incredible, wonderful, and miraculous claims about the birth of Jesus… and we should because in our text today we are told that when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son.

Not until one feels convicted does one feel a need for forgiveness. The strange part of this thought is that many people do feel quite innocent.

Why is it that I can be so judgmental when I am far from perfect myself? The old saying that those who live in glass houses ought not to throw stones is hardly ever followed.

Before we begin to try to interpret this section of Scripture, we would do well to remember one thing. All through it the Holy Spirit is directing the apostle Paul to talk about things that no one knows much about.

The Fourth Commandment is interesting because we may have misunderstood or distorted the true meaning.

Just like all the other great commandments of God, the violation of the ninth commandment is somewhat out of control in this world of ours; Exodus 20:16 that is we must not bear false witness.

The year 2020 will be etched in stone for every person in the world. None of us have experienced a COVID-19 pandemic. For the Christians of this world, we understand that it is only by the grace of God that we can overcome our fears – our test of faith held attitudes.

Many of you folks who read this blog told me that there are times in your Christian walk when your heart overflows with praise for what God has done in your life.
