Last weekend was a busy one at the museum. On Saturday morning we held our annual Jreeve Breakfast.
May and June are the busiest months for our education program. Presumably these are prime months for school field trips.

During last Sunday’s heavy rainfall, we observed a number of leaks in the roof of the Livery Barn Restaurant (LBR).
As it happens, MCC Manitoba is also celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Several months ago we learned that they wanted to plant a tree, preferably a Chortitz Oak tree, as one of the ceremonial activities of their anniversary year.
Monday, May 19, was the day of our first festival event of 2014, Spring on the Farm. Approximately 700 people ventured out in less-than-stellar weather conditions to enjoy the festival activities.
