Steinbach Chamber of Commerce

The Steinbach Chamber of Commerce has played a varied and significant role in the history of Steinbach. The focus of the Chamber is to unite and represent Steinbach and area businesses, in the belief that the resulting economic growth and stability will provide an enhanced quality of life for the entire community.

In the early years, the Chamber assisted in making various large community projects a reality by promoting the establishment of a local hospital, schools, and recreation facilities. More recently, the Chamber has worked on projects that promote and support growth and development of business in the community. We share information and create a learning environment for members through special events, activities, expert speakers and workshops, always attempting to help our member improve their knowledge base and develop new skills to strengthen their business. We provide an advocacy role to represent members on current issues and legislation that affects business and workforce needs.

The Steinbach Chamber of Commerce brings business and community together by coordinating various community events and participates in many community initiatives. We oversee the immigration and settlement services program in our community. This program has helped thousands of newcomers settle in our region, which has been a significant contributing factor to the population boom the Eastman region has experienced in recent years. We look for ways to support and celebrate the work of our many local not-for-profit organizations, and support tourism in our area.
