The SVP of Finance will oversee the company’s financial operations, including planning, analysis, accounting, tax strategy, treasury, risk management, and investor relations. Working closely with the executive team, the SVP will provide financial insight and leadership to achieve financial goals, maintain stability, and support strategic objectives.

This role requires a proven leader with a strong track record in driving financial performance and building high-performing teams in a large, complex organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning to align with business objectives.
• Strengthening and optimizing financial controls, ensuring proper delegations and compliance visibility.
• Ensuring compliance with GAAP, overseeing audits, and maintaining accurate financial reporting for transparency and accountability.
• Identifying and mitigating financial, credit, operational, and market risks while implementing strategies to safeguard company assets.
• Overseeing and managing the companies’ treasury functions including liquidity, cash flow, and working capital to ensure financial stability and support growth initiatives.
• Ensuring effective communication of the company’s financial performance, strategy, and long-term vision.
• Optimizing capital structure, evaluating funding options, and making strategic investment decisions.
• Building and mentoring a high-performing finance team to enhance financial operations and decision-making capabilities.

Key Qualifications

• 15+ years of senior leadership experience in a financial executive capacity
• Chartered Professional Accounting designation in good standing
• Experience in manufacturing and global finance operations, including tax planning, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and corporate compliance.
• Proven track record in executing financial strategies that drive business growth.
• Strong expertise in financial approvals, treasury operations, and risk mitigation.
• Proficient in ERP systems and finance-related software.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
