IS Infrastructure Lead

Your days will include:

• Verifying stability, interoperability, portability, security, or scalability of system architecture
• Developing and implementing system architectures
• Planning and leading large/critical projects
• Collaborating with stakeholders to select appropriate design solutions or ensure the compatibility of system components
• Identifying system data, hardware, or software components required to meet user needs
• Communicating with stakeholders to understand specific system requirements
• Providing advice on project costs, design concepts, or design changes
• Ensuring strong change management with stakeholders
• Providing technical guidance or support for the development of System Administrator roles
• Documenting design specifications, installation instructions, and other system-related information
• Ensuring accurate operational documentation, including hand-off support and training upon project completion
• Responsible for ensuring system uptime and other KPIs meet business requirements
• Reviewing and coordinating configuration and implementation of system changes
• Working with IS leadership on budget planning and preparation

To succeed in this role you must possess:

• Diploma or Certificate in Information Technology
• Certification or training provided by vendors may be required by employer
• 8+ years of relevant experience in IS system administration
• Project Management experience
• Experience with PowerShell scripting & Microsoft SQL database language
• Experience designing and managing end user computing
• Critical thinking and problem solving
• Ability to summarize findings to determine solution
