Our growing company is searching for top talent to join our team in the role of a Veterinarian, reporting to the Sr. Manager of Animal Health. This opportunity is located in the community of Steinbach, MB.

Your days will include:
- Performing herd health visit, Export visits and CPE validations
- Disease prevention, control and eradication
- Developing and implementing meds and vaccine protocols
- Developing and implementing testing protocol
- Analyzing of lab results and response
- Supporting the production team on farms performance. production analysis and improvements
- Supporting the development, communication and implementation of animal health, biosecurity and welfare SOPs
- Assisting with the development of training material and perform training of employees on various swine health, welfare, biosecurity and swine management topics
- Other tasks as assigned
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- Diploma in Veterinary Medicine and ability to be licensed in Manitoba (if not currently)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of diseases and laboratory analyses
- Experience in swine practice is an asset
- Ability to lead and work in team
- Valid driver’s license
