Your days will include:
- Designing, modeling, building, and deploying functional solutions
- Leading and participating in process development and improvement activities
- Analyzing workforce utilization, facility layout, and operation data such as product cost, process flows, and production schedules to determine efficient utilization of all assets
- Contributing to other technical support duties
- Champion and evolve continuous improvement initiatives
- Supporting the business through effective management of value, risk, content, communication, knowledge, and resources
- Complying with all codes and regulations, including the health and safety policy and practices in the delivery of services
- Site visits within our Farms Division to gain a technical and practical knowledge about the process, collect relevant data and a hands-on opportunity
- Responding to immediate safety, quality, and productivity issues that arise
- Participating in the training and development of other employees
- Assisting with the development and integration of corporate cultural elements
- Adhering to budget requirements
To succeed in this role, you possess:
- Bachelor of Engineering degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Biosystems or Industrial Engineering
- Diploma of Engineering Technology in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering Technology
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Experience in leading Lean initiatives an asset
