The Opportunity:
Clearview Co-op is hiring a Gas Bar & C-Store Manager to serve our members and customers at our East End location in Steinbach, Manitoba.

As part of our team, you’ll represent our brand “You’re at Home Here”, by delivering friendly, positive, and professional experience to all customers, visitors, suppliers, and team members.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Live out our values of: People, Integrity, Excellence, and Responsibility.
- Provide effective leadership to a team of employees, and ensure all health, safety and Asset Protection regulations and standards are adhered to.
- Achieve budgeted goals related to sales, margin, expenses, and inventory.
- Maintain adequate stock through efficient inventory management and ensure product is presented in a way that adheres to image standards.
- Responsible for the overall staffing and motivation of the team.
- Ensure effective training in customer service, product knowledge, inventory control and merchandising.
- Ensure proper management of assets and adherence to schedules.
- Prepare annual budgets for approval and achieve goals set forth as a result.
- Lead the team of employees to create high engagement levels and foster an environment of learning and development.
About you:
- You have 3 – 5 years experience in a retail environment, and 2+ years of leadership/supervisory experience.
- You have a passion for great customer service.
- You are an exceptional team player and can build great working relationships with a variety of teams.
- You are honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
- You are able and willing to complete the required certifications for the position.
- You are able and willing to flex your hours to be present and work with staff to ensure appropriate performance management standards are established.
- You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
- You are available and willing to work flexible shifts in support of our retail business.
