As a Sign Tech you will be responsible to:

• Review installation work orders.
• Strapping / securing loads for transport.
• Install electrical and non-electrical signage using various mounting methods and lift equipment.
• Conduct site checks as specified, including taking photos.
• Service / removal / disposal of existing signs.
• Complete safety inspections of job sites, vehicles and trailers.
• Swing stage work, as necessary.
• Maintain inventory of fasteners and place orders as necessary.
• Some out-of-town work will be required.

What you need:

• Excellent numerical and literacy skills.
• Work independently or as a team with other installers and contractors.
• Communicate clearly and concisely in English.
• Able to problem solve on-site.
• Ability to work outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions.
• Have a positive attitude.
• Comfortable with heights.
• Be safety conscious.
• Valid Class 5 Drivers with a clean driver’s abstract.
• Comfortable driving a large truck with trailer.
• Lift, fall protection and/or harness certification, First Aid and WHMIS training, construction experience are all assets.
