RCMP are reporting that a 56-year-old Interlake man has recently died as the result of a single-vehicle collision on Highway 8, north of Riverton, Manitoba.
On November 7, 2021, at approximately 1:40am, Arborg RCMP responded to a single-vehicle collision on Highway 8, approximately 8 kilometers north of Riverton, in the Rural Municipality of Bifrost.
Police say that a vehicle traveling south on Highway 8 left the roadway and collided with an embankment.
RCMP report that the driver and sole occupant, a 56-year-old male from the Interlake, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Arborg RCMP, along with a Forensic Collision Reconstructionist and our Criminal Collision Investigation Team, continue to investigate this incident.
