Dauphin RCMP recently searched a residence located in the Rural Municipality of Grandview after receiving information from the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) regarding a seized prohibited device.
On January 21, 2022, as a result of information received from CBSA of the seizure of a prohibited device, officers from Dauphin Detachment and the West District Crime Reduction Enforcement Support Team (CREST) executed a search warrant at a residence located in the RM of Grandview.
Police say that the search of the residence resulted in the seizure of a prohibited firearm, a prohibited weapon and approximately eight grams of crystal methamphetamine.
RCMP report that 23-year-old Jordy Clyde Robertson, from the RM of Grandview, was arrested and remanded into custody on numerous firearms related charges including possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
