Flin Flon RCMP are reporting that three suspects have been arrested in connection to a recent attempted murder incident that occurred at an apartment building in the community.
On February 19, 2022, at approximately 12:30am, Flin Flon RCMP received a report of people fighting at an apartment building located on Aspen Grove in Flin Flon, Manitoba.
Upon arrival, officers located one individual severely injured.
Police say that a 53-year-old male was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries, as well, an 18-year-old female and a 51-year-old female were treated for injuries on scene.
Investigation has determined that several people forced their way into the residence and an altercation ensued. Police were able to track the suspects to another apartment in the building and as a result, three males were arrested in relation to the attack. Weapons, including a machete, were also seized.
RCMP report that 26-year-old Hudson Bighetty, 23-year-old Hawkins Bighetty and 24-year-old Triston Bear, have been charged with attempted Murder.
The three suspects remain in custody and the investigation is ongoing.
