Pembina Valley RCMP are reporting that a three-year-old child has died as the result of an incident at a farm site located approximately 11 kilometres south-west of Roland, Manitoba.
On March 30, 2022, at 5:40pm, officers from the Pembina Valley RCMP detachment received a report of an unresponsive three-year-old boy at a farm site south-west of Roland, Manitoba.
Initial police investigation determined that the 3-year-old had wandered away from a group of children when he was struck by a pickup truck which had been backing up at the time of the collision.
RCMP report that the 3-year-old was taken to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
