Steinbach RCMP are currently investigating the theft of a 2015 Triumph Daytona motorcycle that was recently stolen from a local residence. The bike was bearing Manitoba license plate 9FX56.
On June 6, 2022, Steinbach RCMP received a report stating that a motorcycle had been from an address located near Kroeker Avenue in Steinbach.
Police say that surveillance footage was provided and showed an unknown male suspect walking onto the property and then taking the bike. The suspect then started running away pushing the motorcycle along.
RCMP report that the unknown male had put the motorcycle on the back of an older pickup truck and left heading towards Highway 12. The motorcycle was later recovered on the corner of Reimer Avenue and Second Street in Steinbach, after falling off the suspect’s truck .
Officers noted that the motorcycle had sustained damage to the ignition, the side mirror and the side body.
