Thompson Rural RCMP are asking the public for any information into the whereabouts of a missing female youth from Paint Lake Provincial Park, 13-year-old Star Pronteau.
On July 25, 2022, at approximately 10pm, Thompson Rural RCMP received a report stating that Star Pronteau was missing. The last confirmed sighting of Star was on July 26 at approximately 8pm in Thompson.
Police believe that Star Pronteau is still in Thompson and often frequents the basketball courts on Thompson Drive and the Westwood School area.
Pronteau is described as 5’4″ tall, weighs approximately 145 pounds, has long brown hair and brown eyes. She wears prescription glasses, has braces and was last seen wearing a brown plaid jacket, grey hoodie with a Paint Lake Lodge logo, black leggings and purple shoes. Star is also known to carry a black backpack.
