The Steinbach Chamber of Commerce has announced that the 5th annual Steinbach Burger Days event will take place September 10-17. This year’s competition will feature 15 local restaurants who have signed up to create 15 signature burgers which will only be offered during the event.
“Every year, this event exceeds expectations and the caliber of the burgers is mind-blowing,” said Michelle Bezditny, Executive Director for the Steinbach Chamber. “Just when we think the entries can’t get better, these restaurants take it to the next level! Whether you’re a Burger Days veteran or a first-timer, this event is an incredible opportunity to support our local restaurants and try something new.”
Members of the public are invited to visit as many of the establishments as they can to sample these exquisite creations and rate the burgers for a chance to win one of three prize packs valued at $100 each. There are multiple ways to enter the contest during Steinbach Burger Days:
- While you enjoy one of the signature Burger Days creations, take a selfie, and post it on Facebook or Instagram with the tag #SteinbachBurgerDays to be entered to win.
- Rate each burger you taste online at SteinbachChamber.com and be entered for more chances to win. The deadline to rate the burgers is September 17, 2022 at 11pm.
Award-winning restaurants will be announced on September 21st in three categories, including Best Tasting Burger; Most Creative Burger and Best Presentation.
Event officials noted that during the 2021 competition, there were over 12,000 burgers sold.
