Niverville native and professional race car driver, David Richert, fought his way to two 2nd place finishes at this past weekend’s Masaryk Racing Days in Brno, Czech Republic.
“It was a challenging race weekend and I feel like we’ve taken a big step forward in terms of our preparation and race pace,” said Richert. “Thanks to everyone at Franz Woss Racing for all the hard work this weekend.”
Race one of the Drexler Automotive Formula 3 Cup took place on Saturday with Richert able to overtake several cars at the start. A race-long battle ensued with Richert able to hold off Czech driver Jan Matyas for 2nd place.
In Sunday’s Race two, Richert was again able to capitalize on a strong start and quickly drove away to seal his second podium finish of the weekend.
