Steinbach City Council recently awarded its next recycling collection contract to Bristal Hauling. The contract will come into effect December 2023 and expire at the end of 2025. The City also noted that automated collection of recycling totes will be coming.
City officials say that council has voted to purchase 6,500 larger recycling totes to provide to residents of Steinbach. The recycling carts will be distributed later this year.
The City also noted that more information regarding changes to residential recycling collection will be shared with residents in the coming months.
