Niverville native and race car driver David Richert, is heading to Italy for this upcoming weekend’s final race of the Drexler Automotive Formula 3 Cup season.
“This will be my first time at Mugello so it will be a steep learning curve against some tough competition,” said Richert. “It looks like a very fast race circuit as well so I’m looking forward to the challenge and applying everything I’ve learned throughout this year to hopefully end the season with a great result.”
The event will take place at the Ferrari owned circuit of Mugello, located just outside of Florence in the Tuscany region of Italy, and will be the 8th event of Richert’s 2022 race season.
For the first time this year, Richert will also be classified in the Italian TopJet Formula Trophy in the F3-Pro category which features several drivers with higher performance power units.
