The Wildlife Haven Rehabilitation Centre of Île des Chênes was recently the recipient of a Canada Post Community Foundation grant of $5,000.
Canada Post says that a total of $1.3 million in grants have been awarded this year to 101 organizations across the country. These grants, raised and distributed within each province and territory by the Canada Post Community Foundation, supports these organizations’ efforts to improve the lives of Canadian children and youth.
A cheque presentation event recently took place in Île des Chênes to congratulate the Wildlife Haven Rehabilitation Centre for being one of the 2022 Canada Post Community Foundation grant recipients. The centre was awarded $5,000 to support their program giving kids and the community a way to see, learn and observe wild animals in their care.
