Lac du Bonnet RCMP are reporting that two suspects were recently arrested after police seized over 80 firearms from a residence located in the Rural Municipality of Reynolds, Manitoba.
On October 26, 2022, as part of an investigation into unlawful possession of firearms, Lac du Bonnet RCMP, along with the assistance of National Weapons Enforcement Support Team, executed a search warrant at a residence located in the RM of Reynolds.
Police say that as a result of the search, officers were able to seize over 80 firearms and a large amount of ammunition.
RCMP report that two adults, a 48-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman, were arrested at the scene.
Lac du Bonnet RCMP noted that the suspects were released, but future charges are expected and that the investigation is ongoing.
