The Provencher Conservative Electoral District Association held its Annual General Meeting on Saturday April 8, 2017 at Smitty’s Restaurant in Steinbach, Manitoba.
Approximately 40 members of the local Conservative association met to discuss events from the past year. Provencher Conservative Member of Parliament, Ted Falk, touched on several subjects during his speech to the attendees including:
- Conservative leadership race
- Events across the riding
- Budget 2017
- Electoral reform
- Parliamentary reform
- Carbon tax
- Liberal Government’s decision to fund abortions overseas
- Motion M-103
- Illegal border crossings
- His role as Manitoba Caucus Chair and Vice-Chair of the Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights
MP Falk thanked everyone in attendance for their continuing commitment and loyalty to the Conservative Party here in Provencher. Berny Hiebert was acclaimed as the new President of the Provencher Electoral District Association.
