The City of Steinbach’s Parks and Recreation Department has announced that the new outdoor rink is now open to the public. The brand new, full-size rink is located on the corner of Barkman Avenue and Elmdale Street in Steinbach.
City officials say that on-site parking is available. It was also noted that lights line the new rink and are set to turn off at 10pm each day.
The City says that the change room building beside the rink is currently still under construction and that benches are located between the building and the rink for all skate-lacing requirements.
