Manitoba RCMP are reporting that a 65-year-old Mississauga, Ontario woman has died as the result of a vehicle collision near the Pembina Highway overpass.
RCMP Central Traffic Services recently received a report of a two-vehicle collision in the westbound lane of the South Perimeter Highway, located near the Pembina Highway overpass.
Police investigation determined that a 65-year-old female driver, from Mississauga, lost control of her vehicle while crossing over the overpass and collided with the concrete median. Her vehicle was then struck by a westbound cube van, being driven by a 22-year-old male.
RCMP report that the 65-year-old woman was transported to hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries. The 22-year-old male driver of the cube van was not physically injured.
