Steinbach RCMP are asking the public for any information that may help identify a male suspect involved in a gas theft incident that occurred at a local gas station in October of 2022.
On October 23, 2022, Steinbach RCMP received a report of theft of a fuel theft incident that occurred at the Co-op gas bar located on the east side of Steinbach on Main Street.
Investigation determined that an unknown male attempted to have his fuel charged to a local business. When asked to provide credentials to prove association to the business, the man became upset and drove away without paying.
RCMP report that as a result of consultation with the local business, it was determined that the man was not an employee or authorized user of their account.
Steinbach RCMP are requesting assistance in identifying the male suspect in question.
