The Steinbach Arts Council is pleased to present an opening ceremony celebration for “Forest Reflections” Watercolours by Don Hoeppner. The event is scheduled for April 19, 2017, at the Hall Gallery in the Steinbach Cultural Arts Centre.
Don Hoeppner grew up in Windygates in the southern sticks of Manitoba. For 27 years he was a successful business owner and restaurateur. He has dabbled with paint brushes over the years and since retirement has spent more time having fun with lines, colours and shapes. Don has created in various mediums, but chooses to challenge himself with watercolour. He especially enjoys using the image of poppies, as this is a reflection of his happy childhood.
This exhibit will remain open to the public until June 19, 2017. The Opening Ceremony on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 7pm is open to the public with a reception to follow.
