Pembina Valley RCMP are reporting that a 66-year-old Roseisle man has died as the result of a recent vehicle collision that occurred at a location on Provincial Road 245, approximately two kilometres west of Roseisle, in the RM of Dufferin.
On April 17, 2023, at approximately 11:25am, Pembina Valley RCMP responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision on Provincial Road 245. Investigation determined that a westbound SUV, being driven by a 66-year-old male from Roseisle, attempted to turn south on Road 40W, when he was struck by an eastbound pickup truck, being driven by a 67-year-old male from Notre Dame de Lourdes.
RCMP report that the driver of the SUV was transported to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the pickup, along with his 66-year-old female passenger, were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
