Dauphin RCMP are asking the public for any information into the whereabouts of a missing woman from the community, 40-year-old Monica Chartrand.
On June 21, at 1:20pm, Dauphin RCMP received a report stating that Monica Chartrand was missing. Monica was last seen by a member of her family on the evening of June 14. Her family states that there was talk that she would be traveling to either Winnipeg, Saskatoon or Saddle Lake Cree Nation, located in Alberta.
Police say that Chartrand does not have a cell phone and her method of travel is unknown.
Monica Chartrand is described as 5’5″ tall, weighs 165 lbs, has black hair and brown eyes. She has several tattoos depicting indigenous art located on her neck, forearms and right hand.
