The City of Steinbach has announced that during the week of July 4-7, 2023, a number of road closures will be occurring due to milling and paving work being done.
City officials say that the following areas will be affected:
- Reimer Avenue is scheduled to be closed from Brandt Street to Giesbrecht Street on July 4-6 with limited or no access for the marked properties.
- Giesbrecht Street is scheduled to be closed from Woodhaven Avenue to Grandview Drive from July 5-7 with limited or no access for the marked properties.
- The southbound curb lane and the northbound left-turn lane of Brandt Street at Reimer Avenue will also be closed while work is done near the intersection. Businesses on the corner of Brandt Street and Reimer Avenue can be accessed via Brandt Street.
The City reminds motorists to follow all posted signage, reduce speed, and use caution in the affected areas.
