Thompson RCMP are asking the public for any information regarding the whereabouts of a missing male youth from the community, 15-year-old Kash Linklater.
On July 12, 2023, at approximately 2:35pm, Thompson RCMP received a report stating that Kash Linklater was missing. Kash was last seen on July 12, 2023, walking south on Highway 6 near Paint Lake. Police attended and patrolled the area, but were unable to locate the missing youth. RCMP believe that he was attempting to hitchhike.
Kash Linklater is described as 5’7″ tall, weighs 150 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a tan hat, and a beige shirt with a Hawaiian shirt over top. Officers noted that at the time, he was carrying a backpack with a sleeping bag inside.
