Steinbach RCMP are reporting that Christopher Gladu, who was wanted by police, was recently located at a La Broquerie, Manitoba residence and taken into custody.
On July 26, 2023, at approximately 1:30pm Steinbach RCMP learned the whereabouts a wanted individual, Christopher Gladu. As a result of this information, Steinbach RCMP, along with East District Crime Reduction Enforcement Support Team (CREST), surrounded a residence located on Normandeau Street in La Broquerie.
Police say that Gladu was called to exit the surrounded residence, and after 45 minutes, he surrendered and was taken into custody.
RCMP report that Christopher Gladu has been charged with multiple criminal offences, including assault, uttering threats, obstruction of justice, mischief under $5,000. He is also facing numerous off-road vehicle act charges.
Officers noted that Gladu is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court at a later date.
