The City of Steinbach would like to inform residents that during the week of August 21 to August 25, temporary road closures and construction may impact travel in a number of areas.
Officials say that the intersection of Lumber Avenue and Fifth Street will be closed with local access only on Monday, August 21, due to a sewer repair. The intersection is expected to re-open Tuesday, August 22.
Also announced is that Giesbrecht Street, from First Street to PTH 52 West, will be closed from PTH 52 West to the back lane starting Tuesday, August 22. Local access will be limited to the back lane on First Street, due to asphalt repairs. The road is expected to re-open Friday, August 25.
The City of Steinbach thanks motorists in advance for following all posted signage, reducing speed, and using caution in these areas.
