Manitobans can vote at any of the more than 300 advance polling places across the province for the 43rd provincial general election. Advance voting runs for eight days, from Saturday, Sept. 23 until Saturday, Sept. 30.
Voters can find their suggested advance polling place on their voter information card or the Elections Manitoba website. All polling locations and hours are available at electionsmanitoba.ca.
With advance polls at locations like The Forks, Health Sciences Centre and Richardson International Airport in Winnipeg, Thompson’s City Centre Mall, Brandon Regional Health Centre, plus shopping centres and post-secondary campuses across the province, voters will have many convenient options for voting in advance.
Who Can Vote?
To be eligible to vote, an individual must:
• be a Canadian citizen,
• be at least 18 years old on election day, and
• have lived in Manitoba for at least six months immediately before election day.

Voters are encouraged to bring their voter information card with them to the polling place.
ID to Vote
All voters require ID to vote, either one piece of government-issued photo ID with their address or two other pieces. There are many options. A complete list of acceptable ID is available on the Elections Manitoba website.

Voting on Election Day
Election day is Tuesday, Oct. 3. All voters must show ID to vote. On election day, Manitobans can vote at any polling place in their electoral division.
Parents are invited to bring their children with them when they vote. Each child will receive an “Official Future Voter” sticker, while voters will receive an “I Voted” sticker.
