Selkirk RCMP are currently investigating a recent fire that destroyed the Paddlewheel Princess, just north of Selkirk, Manitoba.
On May 9, 2017, at 6:40am, Selkirk RCMP were dispatched to a boat fire on the Red River just north of Selkirk. Upon arrival, officers found the Paddlewheel Princess boat had been destroyed by fire.
RCMP report that there there were no injuries in this incident and that the fire is suspicious in nature.

Update
Selkirk RCMP have arrested four male youths and charged them with Arson in relation to the fire that destroyed the Paddlewheel Princess. A 17-year-old male from Lockport, a 17-year-old male from the RM of St. Clements, a 17-year-old male from Selkirk and a 15-year-old male from Selkirk are all facing charges.
