The City of Steinbach has announced that the 2024 residential garbage and recycling schedules are in the mail and going out to local residents this week. There are no adjustments to collection days so residents can expect service to continue as usual into the New Year.
As in past years, residents can find their collection day by finding their location on the colour-coded city map that corresponds to their scheduled pick-up day on the calendar. The map also shows where the landfill and the three community compost depots are located.
City officials note that if your mailbox is listed to not receive flyers, you will not receive a schedule. Copies can be picked up at City Hall, the Steinbach Landfill, or at customer service at Superstore or Sobeys.
