Red River North RCMP are reporting that a 36-year-old man from the Rural Municipality of St. Clements has died as the result of a vehicle collision.
RCMP were recently patrolling on Henderson Highway in the RM of St. Clements, when officers saw a vehicle in the east ditch. When officers approached the vehicle, heavy damage was noticed and a lone male was in the vehicle.
Police say that the 36-year-old man, from the RM of St. Clements, was pronounced deceased on scene.
Investigation has determined that the vehicle was traveling south when it crossed over the centre line and entered the ditch, subsequently striking a concrete driveway approach.
Officers noted that the male victim was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the incident.
An RCMP Forensic Collision Reconstructionist assisted with the investigation.
