The City of Steinbach is informing residents that a portion of Loewen Boulevard, between Albert Street and Henry Street, will have a single lane closure beginning Monday, January 8, 2024.
The closure is due to work being done at the lift station. The project is expected to be completed by Wednesday, January 17.
City officials say that street parking will be unavailable in the affected area. Travel from east-to-west and west-to-east, as well as access to Hospital Street, Albert Street, and Henry Street will remain available. The walkway crossing Loewen Boulevard at Henry Street will also remain open.
The City of Steinbach thanks motorists and pedestrians in advance for following all posted signage, exercising caution, and reducing speed in the area.
