The Ste-Anne Hospital Fund is organizing its 3rd annual Health Walk fundraising event and is scheduled for Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 10:30am.
The annual event includes a four kilometre family walk, starting at the Ste-Anne Hospital, followed by a free picnic lunch. Also part of the day’s events are outdoor activities for all ages, including the chance to see a Fire Truck and Ambulance.
According to event organizers, the event is an opportunity for the young – and not so young – to enjoy a family walk while contributing to the Ste-Anne Hospital Fund. Participants are encouraged to raise money through pledges from family, friends, co-workers and neighbours.
All proceeds of the event will go towards the improvement of the Ste-Anne Hospital’s services and equipment, specifically, the purchase of specialized equipment for the brand new Operating Ward.
