Steinbach RCMP are asking the public for any information that may help identify a male suspect who was seen using a stolen debit card at businesses in the local area.
On December 24, 2023, at approximately 11:45am, Steinbach RCMP received a report of a fraud that had occurred at the Walmart located on Highway 12 North in Steinbach.
Investigation determined that a wallet was recovered at the Steinbach Walmart, however, all contents of the wallet were missing. Police say that the victim’s debit card was then used at several businesses throughout Steinbach as well as to gain assess to the owner’s bank account.
Steinbach RCMP are seeking the help of the public in identifying the suspect.
