Portage la Prairie RCMP are reporting that a wanted male suspect with outstanding warrants was recently arrested at a residence located on Oak Bay in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.
Members from the Portage la Prairie RCMP recently attended a residence in Portage la Prairie in an attempt to locate a wanted male suspect. Police say that the suspect was wanted on two outstanding warrants for several charges, including flight from a peace officer, possession of property obtained by crime, possession for the purpose of trafficking, and several weapons offences.
Officers located the male at the residence and arrested him without incident. A search of the location resulted in the seizure of 12 grams of suspected methamphetamine, four grams of crack cocaine, a knife, a mask, and drug paraphernalia.
RCMP report that along with his warrants, 38-year-old Dexter Houle has also been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
