Manitoba RCMP are reporting that a 22-year-old Emerson man has died as the result of a recent vehicle collision that occurred on Provincial Road 200.
On May 5, 2024, at approximately 4:30pm, Emerson RCMP responded to a single-vehicle collision on Provincial Road 200, just east of Emerson, in the Rural Municipality of Emerson-Franklin.
Police investigation has determined that a vehicle was traveling on PR 200, when it struck a guardrail causing it to go off the road. The vehicle then caught on fire as a result.
RCMP report that the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 22-year-old Emerson man, died at the scene.
Emerson RCMP along with a Forensic Collision Reconstructionist, continue to investigate this incident.
