Street Arts in the City, a new addition to Steinbach’s Summer in the City festival, is coming to Main Street this summer as part of the City’s annual street festival.
Formerly known as Dance in the City, Street Arts in the City brings in a new area of festival fun that focuses on street culture. With this summer’s new feature event, Main Street will now have a larger footprint dedicated to Street Arts in the City. Included will be a bigger stage, new location and many exciting events to watch.
Some of the Street Arts in the City events include the XCo Jr All Star competition, hip hop dance competition, street car show, local street racing, Graffiti and hydrodipping artists and the Summer Skate Series.
“I’m excited about the changes taking place this summer and anticipates even bigger things in the years ahead,” says Street Arts in the City coordinator, Bretton Selent. “There is lots going on at this venue and you won’t want to miss taking it all in.”
