Portage la Prairie RCMP are asking the public for any information into the whereabouts of a missing female youth from the community, 13-year-old Brianna Whitford-Levasseur.
On June 6, 2024, at approximately 11:05pm, Portage la Prairie RCMP received a report stating that Brianna Whitford-Levasseur was missing. It was reported that Brianna had left a residence, located on 11th Street Northwest in Portage, just after 10pm on June 6. Brianna was briefly seen at approximately 12:15am on June 7, but has not been seen since.
Police have patrolled the community extensively, but Brianna has not been located. She has connections to Sandy Bay First Nation, and information has been shared with Manitoba First Nations Police Service who police the community.
Brianna Whitford-Levasseur is described as 5’6″ tall, weighs approximately 125 lbs, has shoulder-length hair that is black on top with blue ends. She was last wearing pink shorts, with either purple Crocs or black Converse shoes and a sonic t-shirt.
