Manitoba RCMP are asking the public for any information regarding the whereabouts of three missing children who are believed to be with their mother, Astrid Schiller.

On June 16, 2024, at approximately 2am, Boissevain RCMP received a report that three children, who had been previously reported missing in December 2023, from Durham, Ontario, were at the Boissevain Port of Entry. Officers arrived on scene and located the three children, who were unharmed and with their mother, 55-year-old Astrid Schiller. The children were immediately taken into care.

Police say that the mother, Astrid Schiller, was arrested as a result of an outstanding Warrant of Arrest for Child Abduction from Durham Reginal Police. Schiller was later released from custody as the warrant was not extended into the province of Manitoba.

On June 17, 2024, at 1:25am, Blue Hills RCMP received a report that the three children were no longer in care at a residence in Forrest, Manitoba, and were missing.

Manitoba RCMP are now searching for the three missing boys, 12-year-old Leon, 11-year-old Christopher and 9-year-old Thomas.

It is believed that the children are with their mother who is believed to be driving a white 2018 Mercedes GLC with British-Columbia licence plate SJ975W.

If you have seen this vehicle or have any information on the current whereabouts of these children, you are asked to contact your local police service, 911, Blue Hills RCMP at 204-726-7522 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
