The Hanover School Division Board of Trustees has announced the naming of the new K-4 school in west Steinbach. Anticipated to open in September 2025, the two-storey building will provide space for 500 students and be named Parkhill School.
The selection of the name Parkhill School reflects the area’s environmental green spaces and family residential areas. It also symbolizes the neighborhood’s family-friendly focus and underscores the importance of accessible educational and recreational spaces for young families.
Located on Parkland Drive, the school will have 19 K-4 classrooms, a gymnasium, a library, a music room, an art room, a multi-purpose room, a life-skills suite, and associated support spaces. The facility will also provide childcare spaces for 74 children.
